Today's The Day!
Today's the day I've been waiting on for months...NEW MOON, baby! My friends and I are going to dinner, then to the 9:00 screening of Twilight, and the 12:01 New Moon. I'll post pics!
Since I'll probably never get to physicall touch Jacob's new man muscles, this is the next best thing. Thank you, Photoshop, for helping me realize my dreams vicariously through a two-dimensional medium.

My Friends
These are my river-floating, costume-wearing, chips-and-hot-sauce-eating, Twilight-loving (although that description may only apply to the females of the family), super duper awesome friends...and their two beautiful little ladies. I adore this family. They are full of love, values, and are everything else a family should be; plus, they're exceptionally good-looking and stylish. Can we talk about these outfits for a sec? I mean...srsly. I die. Whose kids wear navy blue taffeta shorts with bubblegum pink thigh socks? Bananas, I tell you, in the most perfect possible way. I'm gonna post the last two pictures first, because they're my favorites, and then I'll go from beginning to end after that...just to clarify!
HA!!! I forgot how yummy and how FUN bubble gum is!!! Now, back to the start.
I only hang out with her because she's cute.
I just love the gum pics...couldn't stop picking faves.

These Boots Were Made For...
...family photos, of course! Kim called me for some family photos, and little did I know that I've gone to school with her guy since I was a little kid. When I saw him get out of the car, I went, "...Kyle???" It had been probably since high school when I'd last seen him. Anyway, cute kids, eh? Alania kinda stole my heart. Then she ran, and passed it off to Carl and his cute little round face and tiny teeth. It was like one big heart-stealing relay race!

Hanging Out With The Boys
Last Friday I had the pleasure of meeting Tiarra and Jake's newest family members, Seth and Reed. These parents are so deserving of these two little angels, and they finally got their blessings. These boys were perfect. If there's one thing that stood out in my mind during the session, it's the sound of their voices...or squeals. They sounded like cute little piggies!! It was like no sound I've ever heard before, and it was so funny! Congratulations, you two, on these two beautiful boys...you deserve it.

Catchup Day, 4 of 4: Farm Fam
I love it when people have a place in mind that is personal to their family for their pictures. It just makes it a little different, and I can look at the place with fresh eyes, get all inspired, yada yada. So when we went to this pasture with tall grass, old farm equipment, a broken-down old barn, cows (and BABY cows, my favorite animal!!!), a 20+ year old horse, and lots of land mines (aka cow patties...had to watch my step!), I was pretty pumped. I mean pumped in the literal term...I had on high-heeled boots. Fabulous high-heeled boots that were covered in buckles and studs...and now cow poop. Annnnyway...little Lauren kind of steals my heart. You all know how much I love redheads anyway. Then she's all sweet and wants to hold my hand all the time, and look at the camera to see how cute she looked in the pictures. Heartbreaking!!! She was the flower girl in Lindsey and Derek's wedding back in September, and she was beautiful that day too. Her brother didn't disappoint either! He looks like a little walking, talking doll with his dimples and blue eyes! Kim and Derek...geez, yall have some gorgeous kiddos!!
